Do you like dance?
by Sheridan Kelley Adams
I had been watching Allen and a few of our friends play pool at Woodman’s one night, and he came over to me and asked “Do you like dance?”
“Watching it?” I asked. “Or doing it?”
He blushed and went on to say that he was going to the spring preview of a local dance troupe and asked if I would like to join him. I said yes. He smiled and went back to his game of pool.
The next day he asked if I’d like to go to dinner after the show, and he suggested Ipanema in downtown Bangor. He said if we were lucky there’d be a memorable girl there.
It was memorable, alright. I’ll leave it to Allen to tell his side of the story. It’s good.
